Application:
MXC-5 is highly active blowing catalyst primarily for rigid foams but also for semi-flexible foam application. The catalyst MXC-5 is characterized as a strong blowing catalyst while maintaining a good gel profile. Provides a balanced catalysis of the water/ isocyanate (blowing) and the polyol/isocyanate (gelling) reactions. As a result, MXC-5 exhibits good flow properties while maintaining a reasonable cure rate.
